2nd Annual End of Year LAN Party Showdown! Event Details and Tournament Registration
League of Legends Tournament
This year we will be hosting 2 different tournaments for League of Leagends. One will be a Bo1 single elimination tournament 1v1 tournanment. The other will be a 5v5 round robin style tournament. We know there were some complaints on the format last year, so this year the 5s tournament will be bring your own team.

Held on the first Tuesday after finals, come and show off your skills, by yourself or as a team, in our 2nd Annual End of Year LAN Party Showdown. You are not going to want to miss this LAN event of EPIC PROPORTIONS! We will be releasing which games we will be hosting and sponsors in the weeks to come. This tournament will also be open to the public. So invite your friends, roommates, mom, dad, grandpa, cat....well maybe not your cat but you get the idea.
This is a BYOC event. (We do have a few computers that you can use here, but they are not the best, so you will be playing at your own risk) Games will be staggered so you can participate in more than on tournament if you choose so. You are more then welcome to play whatever you would like in between tournaments.
Entry:
$5 for UVU Club Members (club member is a member that has paid their dues)
$8 for Tespa Members not part of UVU
$10 for General Public
$5 for Specatators
Tentative schedule for the event (subject to change):
10am - 11am: Check In
11:30am: Super Smash Bros. 4 Tournament
11:30am: Starcraft II Tournament
12:00pm: Hearthstone Tournament
1:30pm: Lunch
2:00pm: League of Legends 1v1 Tournament
3:30pm: League of Legends 5v5 Tournament
4:00pm: Heroes of the Storm Tournament
Entry fee gets you into the event, lunch, snacks, and one raffle ticket. With your entry you may play in any amount of tournaments that are being played at the same time.

HearthsoneTournament
We are ramping up our effort for the Hearthstone tournament this year and hoping to get more than 4 people to participate. To help us out, we have asked for the help of local Hearthstone tournament organizers, Hearthside Events, to run our Hearthstone tournament this year. This will be a Tavern Hero event which mean an invitation to the Hearthsone Seasonal Qualifiers.

Heroes of the Storm Tournament
Heroes of the Storm has gained a lot of traction in the last year, and 2 Utah teams (UVU and UofU) made it into the round of 64 in the Blizzard Heroes of the Dorm event. Let's continue the hype and battle it out in this double elimination best of 3 tournament.

Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void Tournament
Also a new event this year is Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void. With the release of its lastest expansion, Starcraft received a ressurgance in its competitive scene. We will be hosting a Arhcon Mode, Cheese and Standard tournament.

Super Smash Bros. 4 Tournament
Last year we headed up a Melee tournament, but with the increased poplurarity of SSB4 and a huge turn out to our last Sm4sh tournament, we are deciding to host another one. If we can round up enough Melee set ups, we will host a Melee tournament as well.
